Are you experiencing thinning hair, hair loss, or baldness? Hair loss doesn’t have to be permanent! Restore your confidence and look your best with non-surgical hair restoration.
How does hair restoration work?
Utilizing cutting edge technology, NeoGraft is a minimally invasive hair replacement solution to restore your hairline naturally. The advanced method of automated hair transplantation extracts individual hair follicles from the back or side of your head and grafts them into areas lacking hair.
Who is hair restoration for?
Non-surgical hair restoration is highly effective for both men and women and can restore your hairline, with natural looking results and no visible scar line. You’re a candidate for NeoGraft if you’re in good health with moderate hair loss. It’s also important to have enough donor hair on the back of your scalp to harvest and transplant into balding or thinning areas.
The best candidates are usually over age 30, with an established hair loss pattern. Hair health and density also come into play—the more donor hair you have and the greater your hair fullness and density, the more effective the procedure can be. Your initial consultation will cover your goals, areas of concern, and the best amount of coverage recommended to restore your hairline.
What to expect
Hair restoration is a one-day procedure, typically 4 to 6 hours, depending on the number of hair follicles. There are no incisions or staples during NeoGraft and the gentle procedure is performed with a local anesthetic for your comfort.
Once you’re comfortable, the process begins by harvesting the donor hair follicles. A suction smoothly extracts each follicle directly from the scalp, without any pulling or twisting that could damage the graft. This initial component takes anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. After the follicles are extracted and carefully separated by size, they are implanted into balding and thinning areas in a natural-looking pattern.
How long does it take to see results?
Following the procedure, you may experience some swelling, bruising, or a scaly, itchy scalp. Those reactions are normal and usually disappear within a week. In the first few weeks, some or all of the transplanted hairs may fall out—this is also normal, and means the hair follicles are healthy. Your newly transplanted hair will begin to grow in 3 to 4 months, and will be fully grown within 12 months.
Is hair restoration permanent?
After transplantation, hair loss doesn’t necessarily stop. Some patients add on future sessions for continued maintenance, and if your balding pattern continues with age, you may need additional sessions in the future.
